Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Reposado Tequila
  • 0.5 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 0.5 oz Amontillado Sherry
  • 1 dash Chocolate bitters

Story

After you narrowed the direction to something spirit-forward, this became the first dedicated stirred tequila-and-Chartreuse build in that style. Sherry and chocolate bitters were introduced to create a darker, more contemplative profile.

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with cubed ice.
  2. Stir until chilled and properly diluted.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Garnish with an orange twist.

Notes

  • A flamed orange peel pushes the drink closer to dessert territory.
