Ingredients

  • 2 oz Añejo Tequila
  • 0.25 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 1 dash Orange bitters
  • 1 dash Peychaud's bitters

Story

This was the final and most stripped-down spirit-forward option after you clarified the direction you wanted. The build intentionally minimized modifiers so tequila and Green Chartreuse could carry nearly the entire experience.

Method

  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with cubed ice.
  2. Stir until chilled and lightly diluted.
  3. Strain over a large cube in a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a lemon coin.

Notes

  • Works best with a rich vanilla-forward añejo tequila rather than a dry oak-heavy bottling.
