Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Vodka
  • 0.5 oz Green Chartreuse

Story

One of the earliest martini variations reworked the structure of a classic Vesper by removing Lillet or vermouth entirely and replacing it with Green Chartreuse. The goal was a colder, stronger, more botanical drink that still felt recognizably tied to the Bond-era template.

Method

  1. Chill a coupe glass thoroughly.
  2. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass with cubed ice.
  3. Stir until intensely cold.
  4. Strain into the chilled coupe.
  5. Garnish with a lemon twist.
