Agave Bianco Martini
A mineral, savory mezcal martini softened with blanc vermouth and sharpened with saline and optional Yellow Chartreuse.
Ingredients
- 1.5 oz Mezcal — Can split with blanco tequila
- 1 oz Blanc vermouth
- 0.25 oz Yellow Chartreuse — Optional
- 1 dash Saline solution
Story
Near the end of the mezcal discussion, the conversation circled back toward martini-style drinks. This cocktail became the cleanest expression of that idea: smoky agave, soft blanc vermouth texture, and just enough saline and Chartreuse to push it into savory territory.
Method
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with cubed ice.
- Stir until cold and silky.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
