Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Vodka — Light gin also works
  • 0.75 oz Blanc vermouth
  • 0.5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
  • 0.25 oz Lillet Blanc — Optional but recommended

Story

Once you steered the conversation toward Yellow Chartreuse, the goal shifted from simple blanc-vermouth drinks into more layered martini territory. This recipe came out of exploring elegant, spirit-forward combinations that softened the usual Vesper sharpness with floral sweetness and alpine herbs.

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with cubed ice.
  2. Stir until cold and silky.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe.
  4. Express a lemon peel over the drink and discard or garnish.

Notes

    • Lillet Blanc was presented as optional during development and remains optional here.
