Green Army Swizzle
A colder, wilder evolution of the Chartreuse Army & Navy with crushed ice, falernum, and deep herbal intensity.
Ingredients
- 1 oz Green Chartreuse
- 0.5 oz Yellow Chartreuse
- 0.75 oz Fresh lemon juice
- 0.5 oz Orgeat
- 0.25 oz Falernum — Optional
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
Story
After asking for a bolder twist on the Chartreuse Army & Navy, the conversation moved fully into swizzle territory. Falernum, crushed ice, and bitters transformed the original sour into something more tropical, colder, and much more chaotic in the best way.
Method
- Add all ingredients to a Collins glass or tiki mug.
- Fill halfway with crushed ice.
- Swizzle until the outside of the glass frosts.
- Add additional crushed ice to mound above the rim.
- Garnish with a mint bouquet and lemon wheel.
Notes
- Falernum adds spice and depth but can be omitted for a cleaner herbal profile.
