Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz Gin
  • 0.5 oz Green Chartreuse
  • 0.25 oz Dolin blanc vermouth
  • 1 barspoon White crème de menthe

Story

After asking for more experimental directions, the conversation moved away from classic martini structures and into texture-driven cocktails. This version introduced cracked ice shaking and a subtle mint note to create a frozen, alpine profile that still stayed rooted in Chartreuse.

Method

  1. Chill a coupe glass.
  2. Add all ingredients to a shaker with cracked ice.
  3. Shake hard until fully chilled.
  4. Double strain into the chilled coupe.

Notes

  • The original concept emphasized a glacial texture and cooling finish — cracked ice (rather than cubed) is what produces the icy mouthfeel.
